11  The Committee on Governmental Oversight and Productivity
12  (Argenziano) recommended the following amendment:
13  
14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         On page 11, line 31, through page 12, line 3, delete
16  those lines
17  
18  and insert:  
19         4.  Benefit payments will not be made until the
20  participant has been terminated for three calendar months,
21  except that the board may authorize by rule for the
22  distribution of up to 10 percent of the participant's account
23  after being terminated for one calendar month if a participant
24  has reached the normal retirement requirements of the defined
25  benefit plan, as provided in s. 121.021(29), F.S.
26         (b)  If a participant elects to receive his or her
27  benefits upon termination of employment, the participant must
28  submit a written application or an equivalent form to the
29  third-party administrator
