15 Delete everything after the enacting clause

17 and insert:
18 Section 1. This act may be cited as the "Justin
19 McWilliams 'Justice For Justin' Act."
20 Section 2. Subsection (1) of section 316.027, Florida
21 Statutes, is amended to read:
22 316.027 Crash involving death or personal injuries.--
23 (1)(a) The driver of any vehicle involved in a crash
24 occurring on public or private property that results resulting
25 in injury of any person must immediately stop the vehicle at
26 the scene of the crash, or as close thereto as possible, and
27 must remain at the scene of the crash until he or she has
28 fulfilled the requirements of s. 316.062. Any person who
29 willfully violates this paragraph is guilty of a felony of the
30 third degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082, s.
31 775.083, or s. 775.084.

1 (b) The driver of any vehicle involved in a crash
2 occurring on public or private property that results resulting
3 in the death of any person must immediately stop the vehicle
4 at the scene of the crash, or as close thereto as possible,
5 and must remain at the scene of the crash until he or she has
6 fulfilled the requirements of s. 316.062. Any person who
7 willfully violates this paragraph is guilty of a felony of the
8 first second degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082, s.
9 775.083, or s. 775.084.
10 Section 3. This act shall take effect October 1, 2005.

19 An act relating to vehicle crashes; creating
20 the "Justin McWilliams 'Justice For Justin'
21 Act"; amending s. 316.027, F.S.; revising
22 provisions for a driver of a vehicle involved
23 in a described crash to stop and remain at the
24 scene of the crash; providing penalties;
25 providing an effective date.
