4     Remove line(s) 250-264 and insert:
5     (7)  An elector's signature on a petition form may be
6revoked by submitting to the supervisor a signed petition
7revocation form in a form and manner prescribed by rule by the
8division. The petition revocation form shall be subject to the
9same requirements as the corresponding petition form under this
10code. The petition revocation form shall be filed with the
11appropriate supervisor of elections no later than the January 30
12preceding the next general election or, if the initiative
13amendment is not certified for ballot position in that election,
14no later than the January 30 preceding the next successive
15general election. The supervisor of elections shall promptly
16verify the signature on the petition revocation form and process
17such revocation upon payment of a fee, in advance, of 10 cents
18or the actual cost of checking such signature, whichever is
