11  The Committee on Banking and Insurance (Garcia) recommended
12  the following amendment to amendment (510474):

14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         On page 5, line 23,
16  
17  insert:  
18         Section 2.  Subsection (2) of section 626.916, Florida
19  Statutes, is amended to read:
20         626.916  Eligibility for export.--
21         (2)  The office commission may by order rule declare
22  eligible for export generally, and notwithstanding the
23  provisions of paragraphs (a), (b), (c), and (d) of subsection
24  (1), any class or classes of insurance coverage or risk for
25  which it finds, after a hearing, that there is no reasonable
26  or adequate market among authorized insurers. Any such order
27  rules shall continue in effect until vacated or modified by
28  further order of the office during the existence of the
29  conditions upon which predicated, but subject to termination
30  by the commission.
31         Section 3.  This act shall take effect October 1, 2005.

 9         export; providing that such an order continues
10         in effect until vacated or modified; providing
11         an effective date.
