13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
14         On page 17, line 25, through
15            page 18, line 5, delete those lines

17  and insert:  
18         Section 6.  Section 627.06281, Florida Statutes, is
19  created to read:
20         627.06281  Public hurricane loss projection model;
21  reporting of data by insurers.--Within 30 days after a written
22  request for loss data and associated exposure data by the
23  office or a type I center within the State University System
24  established to study mitigation, residential property insurers
25  and licensed rating and advisory organizations that compile
26  residential property insurance loss data shall provide loss
27  data and associated exposure data for residential property
28  insurance policies to the office or to a type I center within
29  the State University System established to study mitigation,
30  as directed by the office, for the purposes of developing,
31  maintaining, and updating a public model for hurricane loss
