15 On page 6, line 20, through
16 page 7, line 9, delete those lines

18 and insert:
19 (e) In addition to any other requirements as provided
20 by law with the exception of paragraph (a), to be eligible to
21 participate in extracurricular student activities other than
22 athletics, a student must maintain a grade point average of
23 2.0 or above on a 4.0 scale, or its equivalent, in the
24 previous semester or a cumulative grade point average of 2.0
25 or above on a 4.0 scale, or its equivalent in the courses
26 required by s. 1003.43(1) if required by a district school
27 board. District school boards are encouraged to require
28 students who wish to participate in extracurricular activities
29 other than athletics to maintain a grade point average of 2.0
30 or above on a 4.0 scale, or its equivalent, in the previous
31 semester or a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or above
