3     Amendment (with title amendment)
4     Remove line(s) 92-101 and insert:
5     (4)  A cotenant, other than a cotenant who is a respondent,
6who suffers a financial loss as a result of this section shall
7be deemed a victim, as defined in s. 960.03(13), who has
8suffered a property loss, as defined in s. 960.03(11), and who
9is entitled to reimbursement from the Crime Victims' Services
10Office under chapter 960.
11     (5)  If the respondent or any other tenant who is a party
12to the rental agreement fails to retake possession of the
13dwelling unit within 15 days after the date the victim gave the
14landlord as the date the victim would vacate the dwelling unit
15and the rent is unpaid, the dwelling unit shall be considered
16abandoned and the landlord may retake possession and dispose of
17any abandoned property in any way the landlord sees fit.
18     (6)  The provisions of this section may not be waived or
19modified by agreement between the victim and the respondent.
20     (7)  This section applies to all rental agreements subject
