13 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
14 On page 16, between lines 20 and 21,

16 insert:
17 Section 13. Subparagraph 1. of paragraph (a) of
18 subsection (1) of section 849.161, Florida Statutes, is
19 amended to read:
20 849.161 Amusement games or machines; when chapter
21 inapplicable.--
22 (1)(a)1. Nothing contained in this chapter shall be
23 taken or construed as applicable to an arcade amusement center
24 having amusement games or machines which operate by means of
25 the insertion of a coin or other currency and which by
26 application of skill may entitle the person playing or
27 operating the game or machine to receive points or coupons
28 which may be exchanged for merchandise only, excluding cash
29 and alcoholic beverages, provided the cost value of the
30 merchandise or prize awarded in exchange for such points or
31 coupons does not exceed 75 cents on any game played.
