12  recommended the following amendment:

14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         On page 1, between lines 28 and 29,
16  
17  insert:  
18         Section 2.  Section 290.0073, Florida Statutes, is
19  created to read:
20         290.0073  Enterprise zone designation for Indian River
21  County, the City of Vero Beach, and the City of
22  Sebastian.--Indian River County, the City of Vero Beach, and
23  the City of Sebastian may jointly apply to the Office of
24  Tourism, Trade, and Economic Development for designation of
25  one enterprise zone encompassing an area not to exceed 10
26  square miles which includes the boundaries of the Vero Beach
27  Airport and surrounding area, including the adjacent Gifford
28  Community, the Sebastian Municipal Airport, and adjacent
29  Roseland Community. The application must be submitted by
30  December 31, 2005, and must comply with the requirements of s.
31  290.0055. Notwithstanding the provisions of s. 290.0065

 1  limiting the total number of enterprise zones designated and
 2  the number of enterprise zones within a population category,
 3  the Office of Tourism, Trade, and Economic Development may
 4  designate one enterprise zone under this section. The Office
 5  of Tourism, Trade, and Economic Development shall establish
 6  the initial effective date of the enterprise zone designated
 7  pursuant to this section.

11  And the title is amended as follows:
12         On page 1, between lines 8 and 9,

14  insert:
15         creating s. 290.0073, F.S.; authorizing Indian
16         River County, the City of Vero Beach, and the
17         City of Sebastian to jointly apply to the
18         Office of Tourism, Trade, and Economic
19         Development for designation of an enterprise
20         zone in Indian River County; providing
21         requirements with respect thereto; requiring
22         the office to establish the initial effective
23         date of the enterprise zone;
