14         On page 4, line 29, through
15            page 5, line 16, delete those lines

17  and insert:

19  This section also applies to any municipality consisting of a
20  single consolidated government which is made up of a former
21  county and one or more municipalities, consolidated pursuant
22  to the authority in s. 3 or s. 6(e), Art. VIII of the State
23  Constitution, and to property insurance policies covering
24  property within the boundaries of the consolidated government,
25  regardless of whether the properties are located within one or
26  more separately incorporated areas within the consolidated
27  government, provided that the properties are being provided
28  fire protection services by the consolidated government. This
29  section also applies to any municipality, as provided in s.
30  175.041(3)(c), which has entered into an interlocal agreement
31  to receive fire protection services from another municipality

 1  participating under chapter 175. The excise tax may be levied
 2  on all premiums collected on property insurance policies
 3  covering property located within the corporate limits of the
 4  municipality receiving the fire protection services, but will
 5  be available for distribution to the municipality providing
 6  the fire protection services.
