3applications; amending s. 713.135, F.S.; authorizing

5applications electronically; requiring an electronic
6submission statement on the application; providing an

9Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

11     Section 1.  Subsection (6) of section 713.135, Florida
12Statutes, is amended to read:
13     713.135  Notice of commencement and applicability of
14lien.--
15     (6)(a)  In addition to any other information required by
16the authority issuing the permit, the building permit
17application must be in substantially the following form:

45work and installations as indicated. I certify that no work or
46installation has commenced prior to the issuance of a permit and
47that all work will be performed to meet the standards of all
48laws regulating construction in this jurisdiction. I understand
49that a separate permit must be secured for ELECTRICAL WORK,
50PLUMBING, SIGNS, WELLS, POOLS, FURNACES, BOILERS, HEATERS,
51TANKS, and AIR CONDITIONERS, etc.

55all applicable laws regulating construction and zoning.

105     (b)  Consistent with the requirements of paragraph (a), an
106authority responsible for issuing building permits under this
107section may accept a building permit application in an
108electronic format, as prescribed by the authority. Building
109permit applications submitted to the authority electronically
110must contain the following additional statement:

112OWNER'S ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION STATEMENT: Under penalty of
113perjury, I declare that all the information contained in this
114building permit application is true and correct.
115     Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2005.
