11 The Committee on Education (Wise) recommended the following
12 amendment:

15 On page 26, lines 3 through 22, delete those lines
16
17 and insert:
18 3.10. The asset and liability projections required in
19 the application which are incorporated into the charter and
20 which shall be compared with information provided in the
21 annual report of the charter school. The charter shall ensure
22 that, if a charter school internal audit reveals a deficit
23 financial position, the auditors are required to notify the
24 charter school governing board, the sponsor, and the
25 Department of Education. The internal auditor shall report
26 such findings in the form of an exit interview to the
27 principal or the principal administrator of the charter school
28 and the chair of the governing board within 7 working days
29 after finding the deficit position. A final report shall be
30 provided to the entire governing board, the sponsor, and the
31 Department of Education within 14 working days after the exit
