  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to state appropriations;

  3         redirecting appropriations for, or on behalf of

  4         the purpose of, the Scripps Florida Funding

  5         Corporation to the Medicaid medically needy

  6         program; providing an effective date.

  8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  9  

10         Section 1.  All funds that were appropriated for the

11  2004-2005 fiscal year to the Scripps Florida Funding

12  Corporation or to any other entity, public or private, the

13  objective of which appropriation is to further the purpose for

14  which the Scripps Florida Funding Corporation was created, and

15  that remain undisbursed on the effective date of this act are

16  reappropriated from their present recipient to the Medicaid

17  medically needy program under chapter 409, Florida Statutes.

18         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

19  law.

22                          SENATE SUMMARY

23    Reappropriates funds originally scheduled for
      distribution to the Scripps Florida Funding Corporation,
24    or on behalf of its purposes, in this fiscal year to the
      Medicaid medically needy program.
