11  The Committee on Criminal Justice (Lynn) recommended the
12  following amendment:

14         Senate Amendment 
15         On page 7, lines 8-21, delete those lines
16  
17  and insert:  
18         (2)  The department shall provide these reviews to the
19  Office of Program Policy Analysis and Government
20  Accountability. The Office of Program Policy Analysis and
21  Government Accountability shall analyze these reviews and
22  provide a written report to the President of the Senate and
23  the Speaker of the House of Representatives by March 1, 2006.
24  The report must include, at a minimum, any identified systemic
25  deficiencies in managing high-risk offenders on community
26  supervision; any patterns of noncompliance by correctional
27  probation officers; and recommendations for improving the
28  community supervision program.
