  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to drawbridges; requiring such

  3         bridges to be equipped with video cameras and

  4         monitors; providing an effective date.

  6  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  7  

  8         Section 1.  Each drawbridge must be equipped with video

  9  cameras located so that the bridge operator can view any

10  pedestrian traffic to ensure no pedestrians are on the bridge

11  before raising it.

12         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2005.
