11  The Committee on Health Care (Atwater) recommended the
12  following amendment:
13  
14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         On page 1, lines 17 through 26, delete those lines
16  
17  and insert:  
18         Section 1.  Subsections (1) and (3) of section
19  395.1027, Florida Statutes, are amended to read:
20         395.1027  Regional poison control centers.--
21         (1)  There shall be created three certified accredited
22  regional poison control centers, one each in the north,
23  central, and southern regions of the state. Each regional
24  poison control center shall be affiliated with and physically
25  located in a certified Level I trauma center.  Each regional
26  poison control center shall be affiliated with an accredited
27  medical school or college of pharmacy.  The regional poison
28  control centers shall be coordinated under the aegis of the
29  Division of Children's Medical Services Prevention and
30  Intervention in the department.
31         (3)  Upon request, a licensed facility or health care
