14         Senate Amendment 
15         On page 9, line 29 through page 10, line 14, delete
16  those lines
17  
18  and insert:  
19         Section 5.  The following appropriations are made for
20  the 2005-2006 fiscal year:
21         (1)  To the Florida Center for Universal Research to
22  Eradicate Disease within the Department of Health, $9 million
23  from the General Revenue Fund to be distributed pursuant to
24  law to provide grants to researchers seeking cures for cancer,
25  with emphasis given to the goals enumerated in section
26  381.921, Florida Statutes, as those goals inure to the
27  advancement of such cures.
28         (2)  To the Johnnie B. Byrd, Sr., Alzheimer's Center
29  and Research Institute at the University of South Florida, $15
30  million from the General Revenue Fund for the purposes of
31  conducting research, developing and operating integrated data
