11 The Committee on Children and Families (Campbell) recommended
12 the following amendment:

15 On page 77, lines 1 through 14, delete those lines
16
17 and insert:
18 (9) Work cooperatively with the Department of Revenue
19 to implement an automated method for periodically disclosing
20 current licensees to the Department of Revenue. Allow
21 applicants for new or renewal licenses and current licensees
22 to be screened by the Title IV-D child support agency pursuant
23 to s. 409.2598 to assure compliance with a support obligation.
24 The purpose of this subsection is to promote the public policy
25 of this state as established in s. 409.2551. The department
26 shall, when directed by the court or the Department of Revenue
27 under s. 409.2598, suspend or deny the license of any licensee
28 found not to be in compliance with a support order, subpoena,
29 order to show cause, or written agreement entered into by the
30 licensee with the Department of Revenue to have a delinquent
31 support obligation, as defined in s. 409.2554. The department

1 shall issue or reinstate the license without additional charge
2 to the licensee when notified by the court or the Department
3 of Revenue that the licensee has complied with the terms of
4 the support court order. The department shall not be held
5 liable for any license denial or suspension resulting from the
6 discharge of its duties under this subsection.
