At the end of existing proviso language, following Specific 
Appropriation 146, INSERT:

From funds provided to Florida A&M University in Specific Appropriation
146, the President of Florida A&M University shall provide written
quarterly progress reports to the Joint Legislative Auditing Committee
regarding the correction of the audit deficiencies found in the Auditor
General Reports 2004-175, 2005-032, and 2005-158.  The progress reports
shall be based upon the detailed corrective action plan dated March 10,
2005, and presented to Committee officials on March 11, 2005, and any
subsequent additions thereto to facilitate corrective actions.  The

format of the progress report shall be determined by the Chairman and
Alternating Chairman of the Joint Legislative Auditing Committee.  The
reports shall be due as follows:  September 30, 2005; December 30, 2005;
March 31, 2006, and June 30, 2006.

Line item amendments are accepted as part of the amendatory process.  However, due to the necessity of using computerized systems this may entail a different placement
within a budget entity or the renumbering of the specific appropriation items.
