| 4 | Between lines 1427 and 1428, insert: |
| 5 | Section 21. The Office of Insurance Regulation shall, by |
| 6 | January 1, 2006, submit a report to the President of the Senate, |
| 7 | the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the minority party |
| 8 | leaders of the Senate and the House of Representatives, and the |
| 9 | chairs of the standing committees of the Senate and the House of |
| 10 | Representatives having jurisdiction over matters relating to |
| 11 | property and casualty insurance. The report shall include |
| 12 | findings and recommendations on requiring residential property |
| 13 | insurers to provide law and ordinance coverage for residential |
| 14 | property insurance policies, the increase or decrease in |
| 15 | insurance costs associated with requiring such coverage, and |
| 16 | such other related information as the Office of Insurance |
| 17 | Regulation determines is appropriate for the Legislature to |
| 18 | consider. |
