11  The Committee on Ethics and Elections (Sebesta) recommended
12  the following amendment:
13  
14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         On page 9, line 31, through page 10, line 23, delete
16  those lines
17  
18  and insert:  late will be imposed, up to a maximum penalty of
19  $1,500; for notices sent by a supervisor of elections, that he
20  or she is required by law to notify the commission of the
21  delinquency; and that, if upon the filing of a sworn complaint
22  the commission finds that the person has failed to timely file
23  the statement within 12 60 days after September 1 of the
24  current year, such person will also be subject to the
25  penalties provided in s. 112.317.
26         (d)  No later than October 1 November 15 of each year,
27  the supervisor of elections in each county shall certify to
28  the commission a list of the names and addresses of, and the
29  offices or positions held by, all persons who have failed to
30  timely file the required statements of financial interests.
31  The certification must include the earliest of the dates
