16            page 43, line 13, delete those lines

18  and insert:  
19         (l)  An owner or operator of an eligible nonprofit
20  scholarship-funding organization is subject to a level 1
21  background screening as provided under chapter 435. A
22  nonprofit scholarship-funding organization whose owner or
23  operator fails the level 1 background screening is not
24  eligible to participate in the John M. McKay Scholarships for
25  Students with Disabilities Program and may not provide
26  scholarships under that program.
