14 On page 1, line 24, through
15 page 2, line 3, delete those lines

17 and insert:
18 1. The pursuit is conducted in a manner that does not
19 involve conduct by the officer that is so reckless or wanting
20 in care as to constitute disregard for the life, safety, or
21 rights of persons or property;
22 2. At the time the law enforcement officer initiates
23 the pursuit, the officer reasonably believes that the person
24 fleeing has committed a forcible felony violation as defined
25 in s. 776.08; and
26 3. The pursuit is conducted by the officer pursuant to
27 a written high-speed pursuit policy adopted by the employing
28 agency. The policy must contain specific procedures on the
29 proper method to initiate and terminate high-speed pursuit.
30 The law enforcement officer must have received instructional
31 training from the employing agency on the written high-speed
