11 The Committee on Ethics and Elections (Sebesta) recommended
12 the following amendment:

14 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
15 Delete everything, including the enacting clause,

17 and insert:

19 Be It Resolved by the Senate of the State of Florida, the
20 House of Representatives Concurring:
21
22 That, effective January 1, 2006, Joint Rule 1 of the
23 Joint Rules of the Legislature, relating to legislative
24 lobbyist registration and reporting, is superseded by and
25 amended to conform to the provisions of Committee Substitute
26 for Senate Bill 2646 to the extent that such Joint Rule
27 conflicts with or is inconsistent with Committee Substitute
28 for Senate Bill 2646, as enacted by the Legislature. Joint
29 Rule 1, as created herein, shall remain in effect until
30 amended by the Legislature.
31 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate

1 and the Clerk of the House of Representatives are authorized
2 and directed to make technical and stylistic changes to
3 conform the Joint Rules of the Legislature to the provisions
4 of this Concurrent Resolution and to publish the same in the
5 Journal of the Senate and the Journal of the House of
6 Representatives no later than January 1, 2006.

14 Senate Concurrent Resolution No.____
15 A concurrent resolution providing that Joint
16 Rule 1 of the Joint Rules of the Legislature,
17 relating to legislative lobbying, is superseded
18 by the provisions of Committee Substitute for
19 Senate Bill 2646 to the extent that such Joint
20 Rule conflicts with or is inconsistent with the
21 provisions of Committee Substitute for Senate
22 Bill 2646, as enacted by the Legislature;
23 authorizing technical and stylistic changes to
24 conform the Joint Rules of the Legislature;
25 providing for publication in the journals of
26 the respective houses of the Legislature.
