11  The Committee on Regulated Industries (Aronberg) recommended
12  the following amendment:

14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         On page 4, between lines 27 and 28,
16  
17  insert:  
18         Section 4.  Subsection (8) of s. 472.005, Florida
19  Statutes is amended to read:
20         472.005  Definitions.--As used in ss. 472.001-472.037:
21         (8)  "Photogrammetrist" "Photogrammetric mapper" means
22  any person who engages in the practice of surveying and
23  mapping using aerial or terrestrial photography or other
24  sources of images.
25         Section 5.  Section 472.007, Florida Statutes is
26  amended to read:
27         472.007  Board of Professional Surveyors and
28  Mappers.--There is created in the Department of Business and
29  Professional Regulation the Board of Professional Surveyors
30  and Mappers. The board shall consist of nine members, six of
31  whom shall be registered surveyors and mappers primarily

 1  engaged in the practice of surveying and mapping, one of whom
 2  shall be a registered surveyor and mapper with the designation
 3  of photogrammetrist photogrammetric mapper, and two of whom
 4  shall be laypersons who are not and have never been surveyors
 5  and mappers or members of any closely related profession or
 6  occupation. Members shall be appointed for 4-year terms.
 7         and redesignate subsequent section.

12         On page 1, line 12........, after the semicolon
13  
14  insert:
15         amending s. 472.005, F.S., providing definition
16         of photogrammetrist; amending s. 472,007, F.S.,
17         conforming to definition of photogrammetrist;
18         providing an effective date.
