15 On page 19, between lines 12 and 13,

17 insert:
18 Section 13. Subsection (1) of section 366.075, Florida
19 Statutes, is amended to read:
20 366.075 Experimental and transitional rates.--
21 (1) The commission is authorized to approve rates on
22 an experimental or transitional basis for any public utility
23 to encourage energy conservation, or to encourage efficiency,
24 or use of energy from a renewable energy resource, as that
25 term is defined in s. 377.703(2). The application of such
26 rates may be for limited geographic areas and for a limited
27 period.
