15 Delete everything after the enacting clause

17 and insert:
18 Section 1. Section 331.508, Florida Statutes, is
19 created to read:
20 331.508 Florida Aerospace Infrastructure Trust Fund.--
21 (1) The Florida Aerospace Infrastructure Investment
22 Trust Fund is created within, and shall be administered by,
23 the Office of Tourism, Trade, and Economic Development. Moneys
24 credited to the fund shall be all those sales taxes on
25 tangible personal property, admissions, tours, and leases or
26 licenses of real property generated by dealers conducting
27 business at the Kennedy Space Center and the Cape Canaveral
28 Air Force Station pursuant to ss. 212.04(1)(a), 212.05, and
29 212.031(1)(a). Funds shall be used by the Office of Tourism,
30 Trade, and Economic Development as grants in aid to further
31 the Florida Aerospace Infrastructure Program of the Florida

1 Aerospace Finance Corporation.
2 (2) Each dealer shall file a return each month with
3 the Department of Revenue with segregated tax information
4 regarding taxes collected on sales, admissions, tours, leases,
5 and licenses. A copy of the returns must also be filed with
6 the corporation, Enterprise Florida, Inc., and the Office of
7 Tourism, Trade, and Economic Development.
8 (3) In accordance with s. 19(f)(2), Art. III of the
9 State Constitution, the trust fund shall, unless terminated
10 sooner, be terminated July 1, 2009. Before its scheduled
11 termination, the trust fund shall be reviewed as provided in
12 s. 215.3206(1) and (2).
13 Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2005,
14 only if enacted by a three-fifths vote of the membership of
15 each house of the Legislature and only if SB 1938 or similar
16 legislation is enacted during the same legislative session or
17 an extension thereof and becomes law.
