11  The Committee on Governmental Oversight and Productivity
12  (Lawson) recommended the following amendment:

14         Senate Amendment 
15         On page 3, lines 11-22, delete those lines
16  
17  and insert:  In selecting the coordinator, the director of the
18  Office of Drug Control should consider whether a candidate
19  has:
20         (a)  The following education and employment experience:
21         1.  A bachelor's degree in social work, psychology,
22  sociology, counseling, public health, or a closely related
23  field and 5 or more years of work experience in behavioral
24  health care of a closely related field; or
25         2.  A master's or a doctoral degree in social work,
26  psychology, sociology, counseling, public health, or a closely
27  related field and 2 or more years of work experience in
28  behavioral health or a closely related field.
29         (b)  The following skills:
30         1.  Significant professional experience in social
31  services, mental health, or a closely related field;
