11  Senator Smith moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
14         On page 84, between lines 14 and 15,
15  
16  insert:  
17         Section 52.  Section 104.047(1), Florida Statutes, is
18  repealed.
19         Section 53.  Absentee ballots and voting;
20  violations.--Any person who provides or offers to provide, and
21  any person who accepts, a pecuniary or other benefit in
22  exchange for distributing, ordering, requesting, collecting,
23  delivering, or otherwise physically possessing absentee
24  ballots, with intent to alter, change, modify, or erase any
25  vote on the absentee ballot, except as provided in sections
26  101.6105-101.695, Florida Statutes, commits a felony of the
27  third degree, punishable as provided in section 775.082,
28  section 775.083, or section 775.084, Florida Statutes.
