11 The Committee on Banking and Insurance (Baker) recommended the
12 following amendment:

15 On page 9, line 31, through
16 page 10, line 5, delete those lines
17
18 and insert: compliance with s. 636.220(1). Audited financial
19 statements prepared in accordance with generally accepted
20 accounting principles certified by an independent certified
21 public accountant, including the organization's balance sheet,
22 income statement, and statement of changes in cash flow for
23 the preceding year. An applicant that is a subsidiary of a
24 parent entity that is publicly traded, which parent entity
25 prepares audited financial statements reflecting the
26 consolidated operations of the parent entity and the
27 subsidiary, may petition the office to accept, in lieu of the
28 audited financial statement of the applicant, the audited
29 financial statement of the parent entity, and a written
30 guaranty by the parent entity that the minimum capital
31 requirements of the applicant required by this part will be
