14 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
15 On page 6, between lines 25 and 26,

17 and insert:
18 Section 7. Transferor liability insurance
19 coverage.--Notwithstanding any other provision of law, where a
20 transferor or successor ceases to exist due to dissolution,
21 merger or consolidation, any injured party who may have
22 pursued an asbestos-related claim against the transferor or
23 successor had it not ceased to exist shall have the right to
24 pursue the claim directly against, and name as a party
25 defendant, any and all liability insurers who provided
26 liability coverage to the transferor or successor.
