11  The Committee on Regulated Industries (Haridopolos)
12  recommended the following amendment:
13  
14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         On page 4, between lines 25 and 26,
16  
17  insert:  
18         Section 2.  Local governments shall revise, adopt,
19  modify, and make effective necessary changes to existing
20  impact fee ordinances that were adopted before the effective
21  date of this act, in order to comply and conform with this
22  this act as soon as practicable, but no later than July 1,
23  2006. Existing impact fees that were adopted before the
24  effective date of this act may remain in place and effective
25  until July 1, 2006. Revisions made in order to comply with
26  this act are not subject to section 163.3219(4), Florida
27  Statutes. New impact fee ordinances, or increases to impact
28  fees, which are adopted on or after July 1, 2005, must comply
29  with this act.
