11 The Committee on Regulated Industries (Wise) recommended the
12 following amendment:

14 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
15 On page 3, between lines 11 and 12,
16
17 insert: (c)1. Nothing contained in this subsection with
18 respect to arcade amusement centers shall be taken or
19 construed to abrogate or limit the power of a local government
20 to establish or amend the zoning map designation of a parcel
21 or parcels of land or change the actual list of permitted,
22 conditional, or prohibited uses within a zoning category and
23 any local government may exercise such a power as provided by
24 law.
25 2. In addition and supplemental to any other authority
26 under law, the legislative and governing body of a county or
27 municipality shall have the power and authority to limit the
28 number of hours of operation of arcade amusement centers and
29 may also limit the number of machines allowed in such centers.
