  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to building designations;

  3         designating the H. William Heller Hall at the

  4         University of South Florida St. Petersburg;

  5         designating the John S. Curran, M.D.,

  6         Children's Health Center at the University of

  7         South Florida; directing the university to

  8         erect suitable markers; providing effective

  9         dates.

11  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

12  

13         Section 1.  H. William Heller Hall designated;

14  University of South Florida St. Petersburg to erect suitable

15  markers.--

16         (1)  Coquina Hall, on the campus of the University of

17  South Florida St. Petersburg, is designated as the "H. William

18  Heller Hall."

19         (2)  The University of South Florida St. Petersburg is

20  directed to erect suitable markers and signs designating the

21  H. William Heller Hall as described in subsection (1).

22         Section 2.  John S. Curran, M.D., Children's Health

23  Center designated; University of South Florida to erect

24  suitable markers.

25         (1)  Notwithstanding section 267.062, Florida Statutes,

26  the building located at the University of South Florida which

27  will house the Children's Medical Services of the Department

28  of Health is designated as the "John S. Curran, M.D.,

29  Children's Health Center."

 1         (2)  The University of South Florida is directed to

 2  erect suitable markers designating the John S. Curran, M.D.,

 3  Children's Health Center as described in subsection (1).

 4         Section 3.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

 5  law, except that:

 6         (1)  Section 1 of this act shall take effect upon the

 7  effective date of the retirement or resignation of H. William

 8  Heller from, or the termination of H. William Heller's

 9  employment with, the University of South Florida St.

10  Petersburg.

11         (2)  Section 2 of this act shall take effect upon the

12  effective date of the retirement or resignation of John S.

13  Curran from, or the termination of his employment with, the

14  University of South Florida.
