11  The Committee on Transportation (Bennett) recommended the
12  following amendment:

14         Senate Amendment 
15         On page 1, line 22 through page 2, line 10, delete
16  those lines
17  
18  and insert:  the department, one member chosen by the
19  contractor and one member agreed upon by the other two.
20  Proceedings of a dispute review board are open to the public
21  and notice must be given to the local jurisdiction in which
22  the contract work is performed. The board shall review the
23  contract and any documentation relating to the contract and
24  may hear testimony from any party to the contact or from the
25  local jurisdiction in which the contract work is performed. If
26  the parties do not accept the recommendation of the board, the
27  dispute shall proceed to arbitration under s. 337.185.
