11  The Committee on Banking and Insurance (Posey) recommended the
12  following amendment:
13  
14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         On page 26, line 13, through
16            page 27, line 14, delete those lines
17  
18  and insert:  through the Internet or from the department;
19  entering false information on bureau's website.--
20         (1)  No person shall request a claim form from the
21  department or print a claim form from the department's
22  Internet site unless such person:
23         (a)  Has a good-faith belief that such person is, or
24  personally knows, the owner of the unclaimed property, an heir
25  or legatee of the owner, an officer or director of the
26  corporate owner, the trustee of the trust owner, or a former
27  officer, director, or shareholder of the dissolved corporate
28  owner, or has been appointed by a court of competent
29  jurisdiction to represent the owner of the unclaimed property;
30  or
31         (b)  Is registered with the department as a claimant's

 1  representative and has a power of attorney to represent a
 2  person the registrant believes to be entitled to the unclaimed
 3  property or has an agreement to purchase the unclaimed
 4  property from a person the registrant believes to be entitled
 5  to the unclaimed property.
 6         (2)  No person may knowingly enter false information
 7
