12 (Campbell) recommended the following amendment:

14 Senate Amendment
15 On page 4, lines 14-30, delete those lines
16
17 and insert: tax. The provisions in this paragraph apply to
18 all taxes, surtaxes and any local option taxes administered
19 under this chapter and remitted directly to the department.
20 The provisions in this paragraph do not apply to any locally
21 imposed and self-administered convention development tax,
22 tourist development tax, or tourist impact tax administered
23 under this chapter.
24 Section 2. Notwithstanding the provisions of chapter
25 120, Florida Statutes, to the contrary, the Department of
26 Revenue may adopt rules to carry out the amendments made by
27 this act to section 212.12, Florida Statutes.
28 Section 3. The sum of $36,465 is appropriated from the
29 General Revenue Fund to the Department of Revenue for the
30 purpose of administering the amendments to section 212.12,
31 Florida Statutes, made by this act.

1 Section 4. The Department of Revenue shall retain all
2 of the dealer collection allowance revenues directed to be
3 deposited into the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund until
4 the $36,465 General Revenue Appropriation is recovered. Dealer
5 collection allowance revenues shall be transferred quarterly
6 to the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund. The department
7 shall provide the Department of Education quarterly collection
8 allowance revenue information by county to which the
9 collection allowance was attributed.
