11  The Committee on Judiciary (Webster) recommended the following
12  amendment:

14         Senate Amendment 
15         On page 10, between lines 20 and 21,
16  
17  insert:  
18         (h)  If a plaintiff files a civil action alleging a
19  nonmalignant asbestos claim, and that plaintiff alleges that
20  his or her exposure to asbestos was the result of extended
21  contact with another exposed person who, if the civil action
22  had been filed by the other exposed person, would have met the
23  requirements of paragraph (a) and the plaintiff alleges that
24  he or she had extended contact with the exposed person during
25  the time period in which that exposed person met the
26  requirements of paragraph (a), the plaintiff has satisfied the
27  requirements of paragraph (a). The plaintiff in such a civil
28  action must individually satisfy the requirements of
29  paragraphs (b), (c), (d), (e), (f), and (g).
