17 Section 1. Subsection (15) is added to section
18 718.111, Florida Statutes, to read:
19 718.111 The association.--
20 (15) DISABLED PARKING.--When parking for disabled
21 guests is provided, the size and signage of such parking shall
22 be in accordance with s. 553.5041. The association may
23 increase the number of guest spaces, if needed, and a resident
24 having a disability may not park in a space designated for
25 disabled guests unless his or her assigned parking space is in
26 misuse by a violator. Assignment of parking for disabled
27 residents shall be made by the board of directors from
28 available spaces pursuant to state and federal fair housing
29 law. If available and unassigned and when a resident has two
30 vehicles equipped with a lift, the association shall assign a
31 second space that satisfies the needs of the vehicle and lift
