11  Senator Argenziano moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
14         Between lines 144 and 145,
15  
16  insert:  
17         (9)  GRANDFATHERING.--Until January 1, 2007,
18  notwithstanding any other provision of this section, 
19  who meets the following criteria may work as a home inspector:
20         (a)  Has successfully completed high school or its
21  equivalent or has been in the business of home inspection
22  services for at least 5 years;
23         (b)  Has been engaged in the practice of home
24  inspection for compensation for at least 3 years prior to
25  January 1, 2006; and
26         (c)  Has performed not fewer than 250 home inspections
27  for compensation.
