16 page 3, line 3, delete those lines

18 and insert:
19 Section 1. Section 627.6614, Florida Statutes, is
20 created to read:
21 627.6614 Cystic fibrosis treatment services.--A group
22 health insurance policy sold in this state must provide
23 coverage for all medically appropriate and necessary
24 equipment, supplies, supplements, and patient educational
25 services used to treat cystic fibrosis if the patient's
26 treating physician or a physician who specializes in the
27 treatment of cystic fibrosis certifies that such services are
28 necessary.
29 Section 2. Present subsections (36), (37), (38), (39),
30 and (40) of section 641.31, Florida Statutes, are redesignated
31 as subsections (37), (38), (39), (40), and (41), respectively,

1 and a new subsection (36) is added to that section to read:
2 641.31 Health maintenance contracts.--
3 (36) A group health maintenance contract sold in this
4 state must provide coverage for all medically appropriate and
5 necessary equipment, supplies, supplements, and patient
6 educational services used to treat cystic fibrosis if the
7 patient's treating physician or a physician who specializes in
8 the treatment of cystic fibrosis certifies that such services
9 are necessary.
