11  The Committee on Children and Families (Lynn) recommended the
12  following amendment:

14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         On page 4, between lines 6 and 7,
16  
17  insert:  
18         Section 4.  Subsection (1) of section 402.281, Florida
19  Statutes is amended to read:
20         402.281  Gold Seal Quality Care program.--
21         (1)  Child care facilities, large family child day care
22  homes, or family day care homes that are accredited by a
23  nationally recognized accrediting association whose standards
24  substantially meet or exceed the National Association for the
25  Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the National Association
26  of Family Child Care, and the National Early Childhood Program
27  Accreditation Commission shall receive a separate "Gold Seal
28  Quality Care" designation to operate as a gold seal child care
29  facility, large family child care home, or family day care
30  home.
