27Miami-Dade County; directing the Department of
28Transportation to erect suitable markers; providing an

31Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
32
33     Section 1.  Ramon Puig Way designated; Department of
34Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
35     (1)  That portion of S.W. 8th Street between S.W. 62nd
36Avenue and S.W. 67th Avenue in Miami-Dade County is designated
37as "Ramon Puig Way."
38     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
39suitable markers designating Ramon Puig Way as described in
40subsection (1).
41     Section 2.  Shawn O'Dare Way designated; Department of
42Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
43     (1)  That portion of N.W. 167th Street between N.W. 57th
44Avenue and N.W. 67th Avenue in the Town of Miami Lakes in Miami-
45Dade County is designated as "Shawn O'Dare Way."
46     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
47suitable markers designating Shawn O'Dare Way as described in
48subsection (1).
49     Section 3.  Marge Pearlson Way designated; Department of
50Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
51     (1)  That portion of S.W. 129th Terrace between East 67th
52Avenue and 64th Avenue in Miami-Dade County is designated as
53"Marge Pearlson Way."
54     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
55suitable markers designating Marge Pearlson Way as described in
56subsection (1).
57     Section 4.  Jorge L. Cabrera Way designated; Department of
58Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
59     (1)  That portion of Coral Way, S.W. 24th Street, between
60107th Avenue and 109th Avenue in Miami-Dade County is designated
61as "Jorge L. Cabrera Way."
62     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
63suitable markers designating Jorge L. Cabrera Way as described
64in subsection (1).
65     Section 5.  Correction Officers Memorial Bridge designated;
66Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
67     (1)  The New River Bridge on State Road 16 in Bradford and
68Union Counties is designated as "Correction Officers Memorial
69Bridge."
70     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
71suitable markers designating Correction Officers Memorial Bridge
72as described in subsection (1).
73     Section 6.  Martin Andersen Beachline Expressway
74designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable
75markers.--
76     (1)  That portion of State Road 528 between its western
77terminus in Orange County and its eastern terminus in Brevard
78County, excluding that portion between U.S. Route 1 and State
79Road 3, is designated as "Martin Andersen Beachline Expressway."
80     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
81suitable markers designating Martin Andersen Beachline
82Expressway as described in subsection (1).
83     (3)  This section shall have no effect on chapter 98-423,
84Laws of Florida, which designated that portion of State Road 528
85between State Road 436 and State Road A1A as "Kennedy Space
86Center Highway," and, therefore, the section of State Road 528
87east of State Road 15 shall continue to have two names.
88     (4)  That portion of State Road 528 between U.S. Route 1
89and State Road 3 has been designated as "Emory Bennett Causeway"
90and shall continue to have that designation notwithstanding this
91section.
92     Section 7.  Daniel Webster Western Beltway designated;
93Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
94     (1)  That portion of State Road 429 between Interstate 4
95and U.S. Highway 441 in Orange County is designated as "Daniel
96Webster Western Beltway."
97     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
98suitable markers designating Daniel Webster Western Beltway as
99described in subsection (1).
100     Section 8.  Robert F. Grim, Sr., Memorial Parkway
101designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable
102markers.--
103     (1)  That portion of Nova Road between Granada Boulevard
104and U.S. Highway 1 in Volusia County is designated as "Robert F.
105Grim, Sr., Memorial Parkway."
106     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
107suitable markers designating Robert F. Grim, Sr., Memorial
108Parkway as described in subsection (1).
109     Section 9.  Veteran's Memorial Boulevard designated;
110Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
111     (1)  That portion of U.S. Highway 331 from its intersection
112with U.S. Highway 90 South to the southern border of the City of
113DeFuniak Springs in Walton County is designated as "Veteran's
114Memorial Boulevard."
115     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
116suitable markers designating Veteran's Memorial Boulevard as
117described in subsection (1).
118     Section 10.  Southeastern Guide Dog Overpass designated;
119Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
120     (1)  The overpass on 77th Avenue East, Bridge Number
121130090, over Interstate 275 in Manatee County is designated as
122"Southeastern Guide Dog Overpass."
123     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
124suitable markers designating Southeastern Guide Dog Overpass as
125described in subsection (1).
126     Section 11.  Joseph O. Striska Florida Welcome Center
127designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable
128markers.--
129     (1)  The Florida Welcome Center on Interstate 75 at the
130Georgia state line in Hamilton County is designated as "Joseph
131O. Striska Florida Welcome Center."
132     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
133suitable markers designating Joseph O. Striska Florida Welcome
134Center as described in subsection (1).
135     Section 12.  Purple Heart Memorial Highway designated;
136Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
137     (1)  That portion of U.S. Highway 27 that lies within
138Highlands County is designated as "Purple Heart Memorial
139Highway."
140     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
141suitable markers designating Purple Heart Memorial Highway as
142described in subsection (1).
143     Section 13.  Section 25 of chapter 2004-392, Laws of
144Florida, is repealed.
145     Section 14.  St. Petersburg Parkway/William C. Cramer
146Memorial Highway designated; Department of Transportation to
147erect suitable markers.--
148     (1)  That portion of Interstate 275 in Pinellas County that
149extends from the Howard Frankland Bridge to the Sunshine Skyway
150Bridge is designated as "St. Petersburg Parkway/William C.
151Cramer Memorial Highway."
152     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
153suitable markers designating St. Petersburg Parkway/William C.
154Cramer Memorial Highway as described in subsection (1).
155     Section 15.  Richard E. "Pete" Damon Bridge designated;
156Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
157     (1)  The bridge over the Loxahatchee River on State Road
158Alternate A1A in the Town of Jupiter in Palm Beach County is
159designated as "Richard E. 'Pete' Damon Bridge."
160     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
161suitable markers designating Richard E. "Pete" Damon Bridge as
162described in subsection (1).
163     Section 16.  Alexander Alden Ware Memorial Cable Barrier
164System designated; Department of Transportation to erect
165suitable markers.--
166     (1)  The cable barrier system along the Florida Turnpike in
167Palm Beach, St. Lucie, and Miami-Dade Counties is designated as
168"Alexander Alden Ware Memorial Cable Barrier System."
169     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
170suitable markers designating Alexander Alden Ware Memorial Cable
171Barrier System as described in subsection (1).
172     Section 17.  Roi Henri Christophe Boulevard designated;
173Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
174     (1)  That portion of State Road 916 on N.W. 135th Street
175between N.W. 7th Avenue and N.E. 6th Avenue in Miami-Dade County
176is designated as "Roi Henri Christophe Boulevard."
177     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
178suitable markers designating Roi Henri Christophe Boulevard as
179described in subsection (1).
180     Section 18.  Charles Summer Boulevard designated;
181Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
182     (1)  That portion of State Road 916 on N.W. 135th Street
183between N.W. 17th Avenue and N.W. 7th Avenue in Miami-Dade
184County is designated as "Charles Summer Boulevard."
185     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
186suitable markers designating Charles Summer Boulevard as
187described in subsection (1).
188     Section 19.  Capois-La-Mort Boulevard designated;
189Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
190     (1)  That portion of State Road 916 on N.E. 135th Street
191between N.E. 6th Avenue and Biscayne Boulevard in Miami-Dade
192County is designated as "Capois-La-Mort Boulevard."
193     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
194suitable markers designating Capois-La-Mort Boulevard as
195described in subsection (1).
196     Section 20.  Jean Baptiste Point du Sable Boulevard
197designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable
198markers.--
199     (1)  That portion of State Road 934 on N.W. 79th Street
200between Interstate 95 and N.E. 10th Avenue in Miami-Dade County
201is designated as "Jean Baptiste Point du Sable Boulevard."
202     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
203suitable markers designating Jean Baptiste Point du Sable
204Boulevard as described in subsection (1).
205     Section 21.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2005.
