  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to the enforcement of farm

  3         labor laws; amending s. 450.38, F.S.; requiring

  4         that funds to enforce farm labor laws be

  5         transferred to the Professional Regulation

  6         Trust Fund from the Workers' Compensation

  7         Administration Trust Fund within the Department

  8         of Financial Services; authorizing the

  9         appropriation of moneys for such purpose;

10         providing an effective date.

12  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

13  

14         Section 1.  Subsection (8) is added to section 450.38,

15  Florida Statutes, to read:

16         450.38  Enforcement of farm labor laws.--

17         (8)  Moneys for the enforcement of the farm labor laws

18  shall be transferred to the Professional Regulation Trust Fund

19  from the Workers' Compensation Administration Trust Fund of

20  the Department of Financial Services.

21         Section 2.  In addition to the purpose of the Workers'

22  Compensation Administration Trust Fund specified in section

23  440.50(1)(a), Florida Statutes, moneys in the Workers'

24  Compensation Administration Trust Fund in the Department of

25  Financial Services may also be appropriated to fund the

26  enforcement of farm labor laws by the Department of Business

27  and Professional Regulation.

28         Section 3.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2005.
