11 Senator Bennett moved the following amendment:

13 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
14 On page 49, between lines 2 and 3,

16 insert:
17 (12) The department shall allocate funds annually to
18 expend on building-code education and outreach activities
19 coordinated through the council and the commission, which
20 shall include funds for administration of the council.
21 Funding may be allocated from revenues from education
22 activities as provided in subsection (9), surcharges related
23 to construction collected by the department, or any other
24 funds available to the commission for this purpose.
