12  (Haridopolos) recommended the following amendment to amendment

15         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
16         On page 75, between lines 26 and 27,
17  
18  insert:  
19         Section 49.  The Florida Building Commission shall
20  amend the Florida Building Code, 2004 edition, to allow use of
21  enclosed and unenclosed areas under mezzanines for the purpose
22  of calculating the permissible size of mezzanines in
23  sprinklered S2 occupancies of Type III construction. The
24  permissible use, as conditioned in this section, of enclosed
25  and unenclosed space under mezzanines for the purpose of
26  calculating mezzanine size shall be retroactive to the
27  effective date of the 2001 Florida Building Code.
