15         On page 77, line 28, through
16            page 78, line 8, delete those lines
17  
18  and insert:  
19         Section 36.  Notwithstanding section 109 of chapter
20  2000-141, Laws of Florida, the Florida Building Commission may
21  update, modify, or update and modify the wind-design standard
22  applicable to construction in the state as adopted within the
23  Florida Building Code in accordance with the requirements of
24  section 553.73, Florida Statutes. Subsection (3) of section
25  109 of chapter 2000-141, Laws of Florida, is expressly
26  superseded.
