16 On page 39, lines 8 through 24, delete those lines
17
18 and insert:
19 (a) Within 6 months following approval or amendment of
20 its regional water supply plan, each water management district
21 shall notify by certified mail the entities identified in
22 sub-subparagraph (2)(a)3.d., of that portion of the plan
23 relevant to such entity. Upon request of such an entity, the
24 water management district shall appear before and present its
25 findings and recommendations to the entity.
26 (b) Within 1 year after the notification by a water
27 management district pursuant to paragraph (7)(a), each entity
28 identified in sub-subparagraph (2)(a)3.d., shall provide
29 written notification to the water management district of the
30 following: the water supply projects that it has developed or
31 intends to develop, if any; an estimate of the quantity of

1 water to be produced by each project; the status of project
2 implementation, including development of the financial plan,
3 facilities master planning, permitting, and efforts in
4 coordinating multi-jurisdictional projects, if applicable.
5 The information provided in the notification shall be updated
6 on an annual basis and a progress report shall be provided by
7 November 15 of each year to the water management district. If
8 an entity does not intend to develop one of the alternative
9 water supply project options identified in the regional water
10 supply plan, the entity shall propose, within one year of
11 notification by a water management district pursuant to
12 paragraph (7)(a), another alternative water supply project
13 option sufficient to address the needs identified in s.
14 373.0361(2)(a) within the entity's jurisdiction and shall
15 provide an estimate of the quantity of water to be produced by
16 said project and the status of project implementation as
17 described in this paragraph. The entity may request that the
18 water management district consider the other project for
19 inclusion in the regional water supply plan.
