1	A bill to be entitled
2	An act relating to reimbursement for lung transplant
3	services for Medicaid recipients; amending s. 409.9062,
4	F.S.; requiring the Agency for Health Care Administration
5	to reimburse lung transplant facilities a global fee for
6	services provided to Medicaid recipients; providing an
7	effective date.

9	Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

11	Section 1.  Section 409.9062, Florida Statutes, is amended
12	to read:
13	409.9062  Lung transplant services for Medicaid
14	recipients.--Subject to the availability of funds and subject to
15	any limitations or directions provided for in the General
16	Appropriations Act or chapter 216, the Agency for Health Care
17	Administration Medicaid program shall pay for medically
18	necessary lung transplant services for Medicaid recipients.
19	These payments must be used to reimburse approved lung
20	transplant facilities a global fee for providing lung transplant
21	services to Medicaid recipients.
22	Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a law.
