13 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
14 On page 55, between lines 2 and 3,

16 insert:
17 Section 12. Present subsections (4) through (8) of
18 section 338.001, Florida Statutes, are redesignated as
19 subsections (5) through (9), respectively, and a new
20 subsection (4) is added to that section, to read:
21 338.001 Florida Intrastate Highway System Plan.--
22 (4) Beginning with July 1, 2005, 7 percent of the new
23 construction projects on the system and 7 percent of the
24 pavement rehabilitation projects on the system shall be
25 constructed of rigid pavement. These percentages shall
26 increase for both new construction and pavement rehabilitation
27 projects by 3 percentage points a year through fiscal year
28 2011-2012.
